Still can't see how he made first team. Yeah he's really good but blokes like AD, Andre Drummond and DeMarcus are better
base has better offensive rebound. 2K logic
Even KAT deserved it more
whose kat?
bruh 60 free throw
i saw 95 draw foul then i saw 60 free throw, pretty disappointed
What were you expecting?
How is he that bad a mid range?
Basically a cheaper Dwight Howard with no post hook
Higher vert+better dunking than Dwight though. And as the Playoffs Biyombo has shown me, post stats don't matter 'cause he makes contested falling-over layup animations from 8 feet out like he was born for it.
This Card is Beautiful! Maybe didn't deserve to be in the First Team! But still a great player!
Finally a card for DJ that can somewhat make free throws.
bruh
Look at my 52 point Brandon Roy cardhttp://2kmtcentral.com/16/cards/248595
This card or either of the Amythyst dwights?
It's a toss up. Dwights advantage is in a post up game. DJ doesn't have a Hook
is deandre really that shit at mid range
hes made like one mid range ever
true but he doesn't really shoot anything accept dunks
Show 2 replies...True. 25 really shouldn't be a minimum value. You can be worse than a 25 at something.
no doubt hassan shouldve been 1st team all defense and 1st all nba or at least ahead of jordan
This is a great card besides his free throw rating. He can block, He can throw down vicious dunks and he is a great inside scorer
Could anyone help me with my lineup?
http://2kmtcentral.com/16/lineups/419813/i-need-lineup-help
Should I get him or Bismack ?????
Does my lineup good enough to make 1st seed? http://2kmtcentral.com/16/lineups/404094/can-i-make-to-seed-1-with-this
This amethyst deandre or amethsyt Bismack???
Which is better.
for you idiots saying his stats are the same as the dynamic, the only things that are the same is his jumpshooting (all 25's), dunking (which is already near perfect), playmaking (which isn't what deandre is for) and rebounds (which he will get because he's really athletic)
DJ is a good player and some people need to back off their criticism on him. That said, others like AD, Cousins, and Draymond are arguably better. So I was a bit surprised that he made the first team, but I guess there's a reason some people are in charge of the selection and I'm not.
WTF 2K THIS IS FUCKING OVERRATED. HE SUCKS
He's actually a really good player leads the league in fg%, defensive rebounding and second in overall rebounding. Hes also the only player to have a positive offensive, defensive and net rating
Yea ok. I agree. But what about his freethrow. 2K giving him a 60? CMON

He's actually a really good player leads the league in fg% That's true
People like to pretend DJ is the worst center in the league just because he can't shoot FTs.. they ignore the fact that he's almost the exact same player as Dwight Howard, who at a time was an MVP candidate... if you were to swap D12 and DeAndre on that Magic team back in the day, I'd expect DJ to almost put up the same numbers.
Show 10 replies...You are seriously retarded
More than 60% of DeAndre's made shots this season were dunks. You think that he could average 20+ ppg by just making open dunks and layups?
Uh, no. Dwight Howard had his flaws but he was a decent post up big. The problem was all he wanted to do was post up. Dwight Howard was a much better offensive player Deandre ever will be. He commanded double teams and was a good passer out of the post.
Have you ever seen Dwight play..? He has a decent hook, which DeAndre has greatly improved this year using his left hand. That and dunking are the only offensive game either of them have. DeAndre is not the first option on his team and doesn't play in a system that relies on him to score because he has teammates named Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.
Shut the fuck up you're 12 and obviously never saw Orlando Dwight
Lmao, you don't have to be upset just because you're clearly biased. Take Dwight's best year in Orlando, '10-'11 season, put up 23 and 14 on 13.4 shot attempts and 59% shooting. DeAndre's best season in LA was '14-'15, 11.5 points and 15 rebounds on 71% shooting, on less 6.5 shot attempts; less than half of what Dwight put up. DeAndre also played less minutes. Hell, DeAndre even had a higher offensive win share %. I can keep giving you more numbers, but I really don't want to make you any more heated...
And I guess you can consider 1.4 assists and 3.6 turnovers/game to be a good passer out of the post.
He has less shots because of the fact that he cannot shoot from anywhere besides the rim. The minutes play into it as well, but it is like saying "Oh curry isn't that much better than Oladipo bc he takes so many more shots so he should score more" a lot is based on talent. Also, passing out of the post is the ability to find better options when you are double teamed. He didn't make plays from the post, but he was not a black hole either and many Centers have crazy A:TO

you obviously not Australian...
Dobro!
Andre Drummond is a slightly better rebounder, but nowhere near DJ on the defensive end. I think Demarcus' historic immaturity plus the turmoil/losing in Sac. basically lost him a first team spot this year. As a Clippers fan I was shocked but happy to see DJ was all NBA first team, it's nice to see the NBA appreciating defensive players.
I was also pretty surprised to see him on the first team, seeing that players like Andre, Davis, and Cousins all had outstanding performances this season. Personally I think it is unacceptable but I understand the other side of things.
It doesn't help AD's case that he didn't play the full season, and, like Demarcus was on a losing team. DJ was on a winning team that didn't have their main scorer for half the year and they were still the #4 defensive/#7 offensive team.
English?
?
The dialect, "blokes"
Nah i'm Aussie
Blokes is fuckin aussie mate
It's English too...
Nah m8 straya
And British, trust me as a brit ;-)
SAP ESPANGLOWL
lol
Defensively he's better than all
Aussie Slang/10
Btw this is legit my perfect center, speed on fastbreak, amazing defense and rebounding, and can dunk.
He made the first team because he had the 2nd highest field goal in a season. Behind Wilt Chamberlain.
anthony davis yeah, but drummond and cousins have nowhere near the rim protection ability that deandre has
get him to 100
I forgot about this dumbass L
[Deleted]
W
demarcus cousins has no where near the ability deandre jordan has to protect the rim
vucevic should of been mvp
Dude I totally agree!!! Underrated player
Cough cough, james harden
I was referring to big men
Yeah i gotcha lol.
First player with back to back 70% from the field shooting season only player in the league to be in the top 5 for offensive rating defensive rating and net rating 1st in defensive rebound 2nd in rebounds 2nd in blocks
1st team Demarcus/Drummond
2nd team Drummond/Demarcus
3rd team Whiteside/AD/Jordan
Those are my options with the first names being my choice
[Deleted]
Hello fellow Aussie
Gday
no
The reason he was in 1st Team was because his team made the playoffs.
The reason why is because he had the 2nd highest field goal percentage in a single season. (Behind Wilt Chamberlain's season when he averaged 50.4 points in a season)
Originally I was siding with you in this argument but with his statements, I honestly think he had more valid reasoning.
How do you think he got the 2nd High FG%? The reasoning is all he did was layup and dunk, don't get me wrong that FG% is still impressive but he had no variety, also 6FGA (DJ) to 40FGA (WC) is absolutely stupid.
bro honestly who cares tho, jordan fits in perfectly with his team, all jordan's job to do on offesnse is to make his easy shot opportunities in the paint and on defense he picks up where his teammates mess up and block pretty much anything that comes his way, and except for drummond he is probably the best rebounder in the league stats wise.
WHERES WHITESIDE??
Injured
No the best shot-blocker deserves to be on the all-defensive team, he also gave the raps a run for their money
HE CANT SHOOT SO HE CANT PLAY BASKETBALL
can i see this man watch shaq play plz? that would be great thank you for your time.
L
ok
Says the guy who calls biLL "55% FT shooter" RusseLL the GOAT...
11 rings
As would DeAndre on the 60's Celtics...
deandre values a gold medal over a ring he would be another wilt
Not everyone is Stephanie Curry, especially since DJ is a center. The game doesn't revolve around shooting threes, and that's part of the reason why I don't really like the Warriors.
Everybody can shoot.
no
Yes
no
No wonder, you're over the 2K dislikes... -_-, R.I.P, outside shooting.
He can. In fact, he had the 2nd highest field goal percentage in a single season. (Behind Wilt Chamberlain's season when he averaged 50.4 points in a season)
Have you heard of dunks?
That includes dunks.
Exactly, if you're only doing dunks and layups it shouldn't be too hard to put up an above-50 percentage. Hell, literally all he does is catch alley-oops and occasionally lay the ball up. If you're 6'11" that surely couldn't be too hard to do.
layup tho
