When I got on today I told myself, Dirk and John Wall Diamonds today, but then I remembered 2k would screw it up and I legit guessed it would be Aguirre and Weseld because they both had Amy's last year gg

So they followed up the Pacers/Grizzlies historic events cards (quality diamond SF and arguably one of the best C's in the game) with a significantly worse SF and a 6'7" C. Knowing everyone wanted J Wall and Dirk. 2K just out EA'd EA.

I think what 2k is going to do is put diamond dirk in the new promo packs Tuesday because it will most likely be Karl Malone for all time scorers and put Diamond wall in the Jordan promo packs for elite Dunkers maybe like in 2k15 with the dunk the funk collection. Just my thoughts on what they might do

This card is just a slower Corey Maggette with a post game, that's it. Such a disappointment. We were all hoping for a good Dirk that people could actually get and we're stuck with this bullshit card.

Giannis is great, but wasted at SF, he is cheese at C, but mostly cheese at PG, a 6'11 player that has speed can pass dunk, shoot and play defense? Best PG in the game

This card is lowkey fire... reminds me of michael jordan when he played for the wizards. If you apply a 9speed 9 speed with ball and 9 acceleration shoe card to him he can take on any and every sg in the game and body them for days in the post

How is it an ignorant comment? Also, positionless is stupid because then there would be no point in having a center or any player who can't shoot would be useless. The NBA isn't going positionlless, players are just more athletic to run more positions but that doesn't mean they do.

Did you read the article? Do you watch the NBA? They are always talking about the NBA becoming more positionless. The position is becoming more of a title. Sure you still have positions but its not up to you to say what position a player is slotted at. Think of Giannis for instance, just because his labled position is a SF does not mean that he doesn't frequently run the point, power forward, etc. His slotted position is more or less the player that he will defend and not the offensive role he fills for his team, though it can be. You are correct in that it has to do with the level of athleticism though. If the player is capable to run the point then why not? If he isn't then that's probably a good thing for you as you should exploit their weakness. By now, I am used to people running athletic freaks of nature like Lebron and Giannis at the point or Durrant at the PF. Thus, I have designed my team to be as flexible as possible to handle almost any situation that may be thrown my direction. I do hear you that it can suck at times. I would love to be able to use players like Karl Malone who is a HOF'er but can't due mainly to spacing and speed of play of players like Durrant. All I know is that if Karl Malone were in his prime and a team tried to matchup Durrant against him, Durrant would get broken in about 2 seconds and would likely never play another game in his life. Karl can guard him decently but Durrant seems to have the upper hand since 2k doesn't accurately depict the aftermath of what would happen should Durrant try to guard Karl...... "SMASH, BAM, WACK..... I don't want to guard this guy anymore and in fact I'm bleeding and may die soon"

At this point we will have dirk in the karl malone collection which should be post scorers with Kareem, hakeem and others too or all time scorers collection with karl malone. Another option could be being in the bird or clutch /tall shooters or even in the mj collection or another event card. But ye know its 2k u cant trust them, one night they will have rubies for 12 points and some times they wont give an amethyst for 40 points and plus 10 assists...
