And they make people grind in game modes and challenges for cards then just release galaxy opals, this mode is a mess, they dont give a damn about what players earn, only what they spend

I know they exaggerate players' 3pt rating, but they gotta quit giving this guy's diamonds and pink diamonds a 90+ 3 ball like he was a sniper. They really gotta tone it down with the ratings through the whole year, not just the first two months for players. The only reason he surpassed 30% for his career was because of the shortened three point line from 1994-95 through 1996-97, which boosted his percentage. Without these seasons, he shot 28.8% from three for his career... #changethenarrative

Nah ur wrong bro he shot nearly 40% in 90 as well . 3pt shooting wasn't a big part of the league in the 90s . Not until late 90s anyways but that by no means has anything to do with anyone's ability . Most "great" shooters sat around 30% from 3pt in his era because on average a player was only shooting maybe two 3s a game at most , it was a game of bigs , paint scoring and defense in his day . They weren't scoring 150 a game and shooting 38 3pt shots lol so u cant judge different era players with the same standards we have set with current players cause it's a different scenario . . I mean Look at how many 3s Jordan actually took in those early years and you'll see why he's over 30% for his career . When he actually started taking 3s nightly. The %s rose . Had he not retired and kept playing in between years to make up for the late 80s percentages we d be having a different conversation cause he'd be sitting at atleast 40% from 3 . If he played today he'd prolly be around 48% I'd say .. and yeah for an all-star edition which is supposed to represent Jordan at his best .. 94 3pt is more then appropriate . He's one of if not the best basketball players and clutch shooters of all time . Period . He earned a better card then this .

Just saw this now and to anyone reading my comments, don't say I'm a bronsexual because I don't have him at my number one.... "level of intelligence?" you got it flipped bro if you really agree with everything he said... cause actually most of it is completely false. Just so someone else isn't misled about what these two confused characters and anyone else who starts their day off to praying to their MJ shrine, and Mike's fallacious three-point percentage, I'll save you the time and effort by correcting everything that was wrong in that statement. (1) Mike's 3PT% in 1990-91 was %37.6, so if you're going to round that up to 40 then I guess Kobe shot 40% in his rookie season, and 2002-03; Bron shot 40% in 2012-13 and 2013-14 with that logic (he did really shoot 40% from 3 in 2012-13); and I guess KD has shot 40% from 3 for eight years of his career if we're gonna start rounding by 3% lol... imagine if those guys got to have 2+ seasons with a shorter three haha. (2) 3PT shooting wasn't a "big part" of the league until a few years into the 2010's because 2012-13 was the first season that the league average of made 3s a game hit 20; in the late 90s they made 13 a game... (3) saying 3pt shooting not being a big part of the league actually DOES have something to do with one's ability.... because they would shoot more of them if they were ACTUALLY good at it. It's not very comparable to FT shooting because you have to get fouled on a shot to get to the line, or the other team has to receive a technical foul or whatever. But if you do want to compare 3PT to free throw then let's take LeBron for example: He is not a good free throw shooter, so mid-range is not one of his first options because if he gets fouled then he probably misses the mid-range jumper and may miss one of the two free throws. If he takes a three and gets fouled, then he gets three free throws. If he gets fouled in the paint, then chances are he gets the and-one because he's LeBron, which means that missing free throws is not as big a problem. It's not like the three point line wasn't there in the 90s; they could have pulled up when they wanted to but they didn't have the shot-creating ability that players today have, or just the three point-shooting ability in general. The reason why today's players don't shoot many shots between three and the paint is because if we're talking mathematically and percentage wise, it isn't smart. If you can make 40% of 100 shots from three, compared to 50% of shots from mid-range on in, then obviously the team that makes the 40% from 3 is the winning team. (4) If most "great" shooters in the 80s and 90s "sat around 30%", then why does Hubert Davis (played 7+ seasons in the 90s), Drazen Petrovic (1989-1993) (was third all-time before Seth Curry matched him on 2-27-20), and Steve Kerr (started his career in 1989) lead everyone in NBA history with 3PT%? If it's a game of bigs, then wouldn't it be smart to stretch the floor more so it opens up more opportunities? Definitely. But players did not have the consistency or talent to make more than 3 threes a game on a good percentage. Two of the three guys I mentioned averaged less than 1 three made a game lmao... (5) I definitely can judge different era players with the same standards because the old heads Jordan worshippers and the "tHe NbA wAs So MuCh ToUgHeR aNd GrEaTeR bAcK tHeN" casuals judge todays players in every single way possible... so go learn basketball by yourself without your brainwashed uncles and fathers whose judgment of the 2000s real competition is clouded beyond belief.

And the Bulls beat the Jazz in the finals twice... and they sucked; they relied on one player who was 35 to get their points. i agree i feel there shouldn't even be opal cards game was fine with PD's being the highest cause there's not much difference between them and I agree 2k makes every card shoot 3's i'd prefer the game just go back to players actually playing like their style like make Jordan cards OP whatever but have him OP at stuff he was good at like slashing, mid range, and defense his 3's should be like 85 or something this mode been broken cause every card plays the same and you got players like Kareem and shaq who can shoot 3's like its not fun if every card got dunk, defend, or shoot

I mean, it took Michael five seasons to shoot above 20% from three; and he shot less than 20% for a whole five seasons of his career, so yeah. Giannis has shot more and made a better percentage of his threes compared to Michael's first five years. Almost every player, if not every player, would have a better percentage if they played 2+ seasons with a shortened three-point line...

I get that it’s a 99 overall, but 94 Three point shooting is excessive, Jordan literally had one weakness in his game and it was his Three ball. They could have made it like an 85 and made all his other important stats in the 90s. His rebounding is terrible and his free throws and shot iq should be 99.

Because I only shoot threes with players who really do knock them down lol. I’m just kidding but I honestly complain about it because he has so many other stats that are inaccurate in a bad way, but then they just juice up his 3 ball. How are they gonna make his passing vision and his rebounding so shit, but then make his 3s amazing. He literally is one of the best players of all time, he was an amazing passer, defender, rebounder, shooter (not from 3), and just a great well rounded player. However they decide to make his stats totally different than how he actually played. Then again, if I had the card I wouldn’t complain about it, but I just think when they try to make stats realistic, they always fuck it up somehow, Example: PD kawhi, can’t shoot the 3 at all, and has like 78 shot iq. When in real life he’s one of the best 3 point shooters and shooters in general. I’m just sick of 2k making god cards that don’t make any actual sense.

Ronnie has since said the the reason the card was a no name ruby was because their have been licensing issues since kobe's passing, which means it was going to be a new card and not just the diamond or amethyst. He has said that they are trying to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
