My side of the debate:
#1: Hakeem is a better defender with 18 HOF defensive badges and 2 gold defensive badges compared to Odom's 12 HOF defensive badges. He also has 70 on-ball steal tendency, a 90 steal, and 99 block and 99 block tendency. Lamar Odom has 60 on-ball steal tendency along with an 89 steal and an 88 block with only 20 block shot tendency. Hakeem is a better defender, case closed.
#2: They are very similar at shooting: They both have 95 3 pointer with HOF Range Extender. Hakeem has 98 mid range shot compared to 95 from Odom. Odom has a slightly better free-throw, though. Hakeem has every shooting badge except steady shooter and 16 of them are HOF and the 2 gold ones are Deadeye and Slippery Off-Ball. Lamar Odom has 11 HOF shooting badges and 6 gold ones, with only gold quick draw. The only shooting badge (besides steady shooter) that Lamar Odom is missing is Deep Fades which hurts if you want to post up with him, because he is a 6'10 SF, after all. So far, Hakeem seems like a better shooter, but I'd still say it is about equal because Hakeem's release is good, but it is still much slower than base 11, which Odom has. I would have said that Odom is a better shooter if he had HOF Quick Draw, but sadly, he doesn't.
#3: Hakeem is better at scoring in the post and at the rim: Even though, he has only a 90 driving dunk compared to 95 from Odom, Hakeem is a better dunker in my opinion because of 98 standing dunk, and 100 standing, driving, flashy, and alley oop tendencies. Also the fact that he is a 7'0 SF helps, too. Odom is also a very good dunker, because he has 100 driving, flashy, and alley oop tendencies along with 85 standing dunk tendency, but the small height difference between him and Hakeem are bigger than they seem. Now on to post work. Hakeem has 99 post moves, 98 post hook, and 99 post fade along with HOF Deep Hooks, HOF Deep Fades, and HOF Backdown Punisher along with 99 post up tendency and 99 shoot from post tendency. Odom has 88 post moves, 94 post hook, and 92 post fade with no Deep Fades, gold Backdown Punisher, gold Deep Hooks, 5 post up tendency, and 25 shoot from post tendency which isn't terrible, but he's not that great in the post. Respond with your thoughts on these 3 categories and an argument would be nice if you have one. If you want me to, I can write my thoughts on other parts of their games, such as animations, dribbling animations, and athleticism.
Hakeem is a cone with a slower realease Odom has one of the best realeases in the game in my opinion. Also I played against a Hakeem in tto his perimeter d was pretty doo doo. But in the post his d is ov better. Also Lamar is a way better shot created from three point range. Also Hakeem has bad dribble moves. Also Lamar Odom is a poster machine. Lamar is a better perimeter defender as well. Also I don’t try to post up with sf’s unless it’s a clear mismatch like when someone plays Joe Caldwell there. All the things that u didn’t mention are the things Hakeem isn’t good at.

so far, animations are the only thing that i'm worried ab. odom's release and dribble moves are great but i'm not sure ab hakeem bc i've never used him. so i'm still deciding but leaning toward odom.
